Making identity visible

CREATIVE DUO BASED IN PARIS

CREATIVE DUO BASED IN PARIS

Odin Haus is a Paris-based creative studio founded by two artists whose complementary practices define its
unique visual identity.

SELECTED WORK

  • We are happy to share our new video featuring the world of the Japanese artist Miyouki Nakajima, documented over the past few weeks.

In this video, you can discover a sensitive, self-taught artist, who draws inspiration from raw nature, shaping her poetic universe through fabrics, textures, and colors. It’s pure authenticity derived from the natural world.

  • In today’s societies, the “métier d’art” plays a crucial role in preserving the uniqueness and authenticity of each culture.

These disciplines pass on the “savoir-faire” (know-how) from one generation to the next, keeping the flame of tradition alive.

During this visit, we could discover a wide variety of practices: from astonishing work with glass to very sensitive ceramics.

We are excited to continue exploring talents around us and to share with you the ones we liked the most.

  • Julio C.Martínez – Engraving

Julio C.Martínez is a Mexican artist based in Paris.
His work could be described as Punk Mexican Visual Art.
What makes Julio interesting and unique is his authenticity. Being in France for more than ten years hasn’t changed his roots or who he is. He maintains his connection to his heritage through his art. He uses engraving to transport us into his imagination, which is marked by strong Mexican and pre-Columbian symbols.
In his work, Julio addresses playful and everyday themes through refined imagery and simple texts, allowing for a smooth and immediate connection with the viewer.
His creative process connects his work to his life, where music plays an important role. His personal experience is reflected in each of his pieces, created after a cup of coffee and under the rhythms of cumbia.
What makes his work authentic is the connection between his Mexican roots and his everyday life experiences.
